I'm hearing that all over today, in the wake of the decline in the Republic Party's fortunes.
Of course, what is meant by this is the religious voter.
And that pisses me off. ***I'm*** a value voter, too. I vote for or against the same values as any one else. Why am **I** not a 'values voter'?
Man oh man, they've sure stolen the language. haven't they?

People will write about how calling some things certain names, labels, and definitions determined how people voted and decided the direction of the country...
Have nothing to do with what is best for the voters or the country.

Part of the solution needs to be progressives saying, every chance they get, that they defend sensible American values like good health care, a good economy, etc.
