Man, is Tom Reynolds ever spending money FAST!
I live on the cusp of Tom Reynolds' Congressional District (the GOOD side of the cusp) and he's been spending money hand over fist running ads for his re-election. Old Tom, and the rest of the Republican Party, thought he had a nice, safe Congressional seat all wrapped up. No need to spend a lot of money on ads, especially not THIS far out from election day. WRONG! Reynolds has been running ads all day long for the past 4 days now and we're still 4+ weeks away from election day. I LOVE IT! :woohoo: The latest polls show Reynolds trailing the challenger, Davis (D) by anywhere from 3 to 7 points where he was LEADING just last week! :woohoo:

The 'Renamblacans' are being forced, all over the country, to spend HUGE amounts of cash defending their positions on everything from the Foley scandal to their failed policies on Iraq and the economy. I haven't seen this party is such disarray, ever, and I'm damned near 60 years old.

This is great folks. The Republican treasury is taking a thumping. They never expected they'd have to spend this much money this early! Those fat corporate contributers are really going to have to pony up, and quick! There goes your tax cuts boys, right into the Republican re-election coffers so you can keep your guys in control of our country. HAHA!!

1. They've lost their supposed moral superiority edge
and they're lousy on war and spending. Stick a fork in him.

2. Reynolds is so busy saving his own seat, he can't be much help to the
other republicans and his JOB is to get House republicans elected!

Happy thoughts! :D

6. Foley will be in the news constantly because of the on-going
investigation. There will be updates periodically as the criminal investigation proceeds.

Democrats don't have to do a thing, The GOP have done it to themselves.

8. Have you seen his new ad where he is just talking about...
the Foley mess and he is innocent of any cover up? The ad shows just his face and he looks desperate. He is in the district where I have my office and I look forward to him losing. Jack Davis is ahead by a margin at this point. Things are looking up. I never thought I would see it happen. I also think Reynolds knew more than he admits because Fordham worked for him after working for Foley.

11. I've seen them all, you can't help it.
He's saturating the airwaves and it has to be costing him a bundle. I'm going to Rochester Oct. 20 to protest Reynolds and McCain at a fundraiser they're throwing. I expect a good turnout.

13. Good for you. I wish I could be there....
I am surprised and happy people in Rochester will be protesting them. I always think of Rochester as heavily Republican with no hope for the Dems. Maybe the tide is turning.

12. VERY sleazy.
The kind of guy you wouldn't trust with a nickel of your money. We're working as hard as we can to get him the hell out of Congress.
