Harris Calls Dem's Policies Unchristian

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Republican Senate hopeful Katherine Harris says Florida's
Democratic incumbent supports unchristian political policies.

Harris _ whose comments were made on a Christian radio network and published
Monday by Agape Press, a Christian news service _ did not mention specific
policies, but she has repeatedly berated Sen. Bill Nelson for not supporting
a ban on certain late-term abortions and a constitutional amendment banning
gay marriage.

"Instead of questioning Nelson's faith like she's doing, she should be spending
time answering questions about her ethical problems," Nelson spokesman Bryan
Gulley said. "Harris is one of the most polarizing figures in politics and not
representative of the mainstream."

With about a month to go before the Nov. 7 election, Harris trails Nelson
by double digits in most polls. She has had a rough campaign, with questions
about her dealings with a corrupt defense contractor, multiple waves of staff
resignations, and top Republicans initially trying to recruit another candidate.

6. Abortions and Gay Marriage

Those ARE the only two things God really cares about, don't you know? After all, Jesus spent His ENTIRE three years of ministry on this earth railing about abortions and homosexuality. In fact, He made it quite clear that unless you are unequivocally opposed to both of these blights upon society, you most definitely will NOT make it to heaven. Salvation is utterly dependant on your stance on these two issues.

Who cares about the post-born children? Who cares about oppressed people, the marginalized of society, or the poor? Jesus spent no time at all with those losers. Everybody knows that. Sheesh, the Dems are on a fast track to hell with their concern about poverty and justice. SOOOO unChristian of them!

But Jesus never ever said one single WORD about those 'issues'. Not one word about abortion. Not one word about homosexuals. Not one word about evolution, or how God 'created the world'.

He did, however, say plenty about turning the other cheek, loving your neighbor, helping the poor, feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, praying in private, healing the sick, rebelling against crooked politicians, and TELLING THE TRUTH.
