Condi's snag-filled trip to ME-----she missed a photoOP with big six. |
|
.........The trouble caused her to miss the start of a crucial meeting of six world powers on tackling the Iran nuclear crisis, her top priority. In the end, she managed to make the meeting for 45 minutes.
However, she and her counterparts from Britain, China, France, Germany and Russia had to pass up the group photograph, traditionally used to mark a display of unity, because some of them had appointments to keep.

Bush's handling of Iraq and the war on terror cast a harsh light on Rice, once the diva of the administration.........

2. So, what are this administration's priorities? |
|
We can't get our Secretary of State to a meeting on time to discuss the situation in Iran with our allies, but when was the last time you heard about Bush or Cheney missing a fundraising dinner? This is how Dr. Rice treats what the story calls "her top priority."

4. Well, seeing as how they aren't unified on the subject, I think it was |
|
entirely appropriate. It sent the perfect message...the US is out of step with the rest of the world.
