Query on child molesting and heterosexuality.

I had seen a posting recently on DU, that quotes from a prestigious source. Namely: >95% of such acts are committed by heterosexual people. This is WILDLY at odds with so-called "popular perception", and is an Orwellian tribute to our popular system of opinion-shaping. I neeed that source right now, but am unable to Google it so far. Can anyone here help?

4. There is no way that that stat can be true

The majority of children who are molested are females, molested by "heterosexual" men. The public only seems to be shocked when it's adult males molesting young boys.

I'm a children's services worker, so I can speak from my 20 years of experience, even if I don't have the exact numbers.

What percentage of the population is gay men? 3 or 4%? Naturally, most incidents of sexual abuse of children are by hetero men. But that doesn't really tell us anything. Disturbed men and women whether hetero or homosexual, abuse children. In my book, it's not about sexual orientation.
