If there's a tie, a coin toss is a legitimate way of settling it.

17. Dean first; Kerry second; Kucinich third
It's confusing after that -- Clark and Edwards were tied, but then the TV station said Edwards was third, so something changed.

30. This is how I caught them
But it was confusing, so don't hold me to it. Although Dean absolutely won this Seattle caucus 2-1, the local station reported. The votes now go to some official place to be counted in with the rest of the state.

Precincts
1 (Dean-2; Kerry-1)
2 (Dean-2; Kerry-2; Kucinich-1)
3 (Dean-1; Edwards-1; Kerry-1; Kucinich-2)
4 (Dean-4; Kerry-2)
5 (Clark-1; Dean-3; Kucinich-1)
6 (Dean-3; Kerry-1)
7 (Dean-2; Kerry-2; Kucinich-1)
8 (Dean-2; Kerry-2; Kucinich-1)
9 (Clark-2; Dean-2; Kerry-1)
10 (Dean-2; Edwards-2; Kerry-1)
