Today episode of "Inside Washington", the jouralists have turned.
Todays epsiode of Inside Washington with Gordon Peterson was pretty telling, it's sounded like a line-up of Air America hosts, on every point, at every step, the Washington reporters have had enough of the Bush disaster. Find the time to watch some of it here:

The news for Bush and his gang can only get worse from this point on. The worm has turned.

3. Especially damning because it wasn't a panel of . .
Angry liberals, but middle-of-the-road (even a Wash Times correspondent, I think) speakers, occupying the reality-based universe instead of the Bushian fantasyland that most MSM talking heads have pretended to inhabit for the last 5 years.

At no time was there even a suggestion that Bush knew WTF he was doing, or that he was basically honorable, or that "serious-minded people may differ" on his presidency. Tottebergy said flat out that "history will look at us and this president and we will not be proud . . ." (or something to that effect) and everybody just shook their heads yes, as if she had intoned that the sun had risen in the east that morning.

We're past the tipping point, IMO.

5. Shields really bugs me
After the election of 84 (or 88?), he went on a long sorrowful rant about how the news media and pundits maybe, just maybe, failed to focus on the issues b/c they were so busy talking about whether the incumbants were able to counter the various 'attacks' well.

And I just stood there and yelled 'well, you were a major pundit; what were YOU doing???'

It was like 'well maybe some goofs happened, but well you know no one was really responsible---things just sort of happen during campaigns.'
