Has declared they want to cut production to keep prices above $60.00 per barrel. Somehow, I don't think that particular move is going to help the R's in the election.

when (momentarily) comfortable. Is this like the "October Suprise", in a way?
Cheney giving contracts to a company he used to help manage, and to gain stock value as a result, is more directly unethical, although it's basically the same.
Bush and his family and friends are friends with OPEC. They all profit together.
