Adwatch: 'In general, the ad is false. Outright.'

Powerful Senate Republican, Rick Santorum's hit piece on Dem challenger Bob Casey was deemed by Pennsylvania's NBC affilliate WGAL's "adwatch team" to be "False."

None of the men represented in the ad is, as the ad claims, a part of Casey's campaign team. Oh, and regarding one of the men, WGAL notes: "it's impossible for him to be part of the Casey campaign team because he's been dead for two years."

The final tally: of the seven donors portrayed in the ad, only one donated to Casey's senate campaign, and that was just $2,000. Santorum, on the other hand, received money from two of them. Shame.

This ad is despicable. Can Casey sue him? As it turns out - everything in the ad is an outirhgt lie. Santorum is a big time asshole. He'll be an ex senator in 4 weeks, but will be asshole for life.
