Sensenbrenner Wont Discuss Foley Scandal |

Sensenbrenner Won't Discuss Connections to Foley Scandal
WHITEFISH BAY, WI – Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner has refused to respond to questions about his role in the Foley scandal currently gripping the Republican party. The scandal involves former Florida Congressman Mark Foley's sexually-charged emails and instant messages to underage male Congressional pages. It has become apparent that Republican House leadership knew of the inappropriate contacts for years and acted to cover-up their existence, rather than discipline Foley and protect the pages' safety.
Today, the Washington Post is reporting that Republican Representative Jim Kolbe of Arizona knew of the Foley emails six years ago, in 2000. Kolbe's office has already confirmed that pages had indeed shown him “sexually explicit” emails from Foley. Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert had claimed that the first Republicans to know of the emails learned of them in the fall of 2005 – a claim which is obviously false.
Today's news illustrates that many members of Congress had knowledge of Mark Foley's predatory behavior – not only those in House leadership or those in charge of the page program. Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner, the chair of the House Judiciary Committee, has a history of working closely with Foley.
“On Thursday, I faxed Congressman Sensenbrenner a letter asking him to publicly divulge any knowledge he might have had about Mark Foley's appalling behavior and the House leadership's attempt to cover it up,” Kennedy explained. “Congressman Sensenbrenner has, so far, refused to respond. I think he owes his constituents an explanation of what he knew and when he knew it, and I want to call on him once again to come clean about any role he may have played in this whole saga.”
Kennedy is running the most aggressive campaign ever run against Sensenbrenner in Wisconsin's 5th Congressional District. The 5th CD includes all of Washington and Ozaukee counties, and parts of Waukesha, Milwaukee, and Jefferson counties.

But if you go back and google you will find that he was one of the most vocal about President Clinton having consentual sex with an adult. And he could wait to bring charges of impeachment against him.

2. I'll be so happy when we take over congress because of this bitch. |
|
I remember the countless times I watched on CSPAN as he banged his gavel, abruptly ending committee hearings over the objections of Democrats.
He is a disgrace as chairman of the House Judiciary.

Two Kennedy-Sensenbrenner Forums Scheduled for this Week
WHITEFISH BAY, WI – The campaign of Bryan Kennedy, Democratic candidate for Congress in Wisconsin's 5th Congressional District, announced today the details of 2 candidate forums taking place in the district during the current week.
On Wednesday, October 11th, Kennedy and Sensenbrenner will participate in a forum at the Brookfield Public Safety Building at 2100 N. Calhoun Road, in Brookfield. The forum, which is sponsored by the Wisconsin Alliance for Retired Americans and other groups, is open to the public and will run from 10am until approximately 11:30am.
On Thursday, October 12th, the candidates will both participate in a forum sponsored by the Milwaukee Jewish Council for Community Relations. The event will be held at Congregation Shalom, located at 7630 N. Santa Monica Boulevard, in Fox Point. The forum is scheduled to begin at 7pm and will likely last 2 hours. It is also open to the public.
Though several other forums invited Congressman Sensenbrenner to participate, he declined to attend all but two of the events.
