Frist's latest email message (!)....
Believe me I got on this list because I sent him a protest email!! Anyway, how deluded can he get:

Senator William H. Frist, M.D. - U.S. Senator, Tennessee - U.S. Senate Majority Leader

Yesterday’s claimed nuclear test by North Korea was a dangerous provocation that demands a strong response by the United States and the international community. North Korea’s actions threaten to destabilize all of Northeast Asia and must not be repeated by other rogue nations.

As the North Korean regime has become increasingly aggressive in recent months, I have been working with my colleagues in the Congress to ensure that our nation is doing all that it can to protect the American people against the threat of North Korean nuclear and missile proliferation. To this end, I introduced the "North Korea Nonproliferation Act of 2006" following North Korea’s missile tests on July 4th. This measure passed the Senate on July 25th and the House on September 30th, and is now awaiting signature by the President.

The legislation ensures that the United States will carefully review and impose appropriate sanctions on all foreign entities involved in transfers of WMD and missile-related items to and from North Korea. U.S. law already requires such treatment of WMD and missile-related transfers to and from Iran and Syria, and my legislation ensures that henceforward we will extend the same treatment to North Korea.

I look forward to the President signing this bill into law. In addition, it is imperative that the United Nations and other countries follow our example by adopting similarly far-reaching measures to constrain the ability of North Korea to menace international peace and security.

Bill Frist

WOW--Does he really think this empty piece of legislation will solve the problem?????

1. Didn't see anything in that little propaganda piece apologizing how
North Korea amassed it's nuclear weapons arsenal on Bush and Frist's watches.
