Beware of a trap
This is not the time to let up in any manner in supporting Democratic candidates.

The polls look good but they may be gaming the polls to lull us into complacency.
We cannot afford to let up until George is resigning and Nancy's is Speaker.

1. Could not agree with you more, Rove has something up his sleeves for sure.
He is waiting for the last week and could care less how obvious it is.

2. We can't let up, but I don't even believe Rove is a factor.
He's done his bit. Poured money into contested districts, bought air time, concocted vicious lies......people still don't trust the Republicans.

And, of course, there are now waaaaaaaaaaaay more contested districts than before.

I just don't see anyone rallying around an attack on Iran. Not that that would stop Georgie from attacking Iran, but I just don't see it having a positive effect. More like, horribly embarrassing.

4. Who is "gaming the polls"?
Such a statement requires some sort of back-up..

5. "may be gaming the polls"
I didn't say I knew they were. I said given they've bought off the media, its more than possible they've bought off polling companies.

6. Absolutely. We need to go further & start taking more of an offensive
approach, too. Just sitting back, thinking Repukes are going to lose all on their own account, isn't going to work if the voters don't think Democrats care enough to offer a STRONG alternative to bushco.
