"Minneapolis Mike" NAILS it on HuffPo...Bush as "The Kick Ass Cowboy"
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2006/10/10/tony-snow-on-bushs-handl_n_31406.html

Excerpt from Salon's The War Room by Tim Grieve:

A reporter asked the White House press secretary today if there's anything the president thinks he should have done differently with respect to North Korea. "Oh, my goodness," Snow responded. "It's a silly question."

As members of the White House press corps howled in protest, Snow said that any answer he might give would be translated into headlines saying that the Bush administration had admitted to making mistakes. "I have said this repeatedly from this podium," Snow said. "You need to give presidents the benefit of the doubt when national security is involved."

As always, Tony Snow could not be more correct. Any question doubting the negotiating skills of President Bush should at the very least be categorized as 'silly' and at most be categorized as 'traitorous'.

Let's face it - the best policy for dealing with any international situation of supreme danger is to adopt the attitude of a Kick Ass Cowboy. History has shown that acting like a Kick Ass Cowboy has always worked and will no doubt work again. What world leaders respect more than anything else is someone who refuses to talk to them in a rational manner but parades about as a Kick Ass Cowboy.

No doubt President Bush would not have nearly the deep level of respect and adoration all over the world if he didn't act like the best Kick Ass Cowboy ever. Can anyone imagine how little respect world leaders would have for the President of the United States if he weren't a Kick Ass Cowboy?

America....Fuck Yeah!
