Did Bush know about Foley?
Edited on Thu Oct-12-06 10:52 PM by kentuck
There was a report earlier today that Karl Rove insisted that Foley run, although Foley wanted to quit and become a lobbyist? Is it reasonable to suspect that Rove may have known and Bush did not?

Bush was in Illinois to day with Denny Hastert. Soon thereafter, some preacher came on and said that Hastert was going to resign? One must wonder, how many of these rumors are true? And if Hastert resigns, will he have been fed to the wolves just to protect their Leader?

Then the story about emails between Jeb and Foley, giving the appearance that Dubya was shunning Foley, broke later today. It's obvious they are circling the wagons to protect Bush, and they may throw Hastert overboard with Foley, in hopes that will satisfy the hungry wolves?

Regardless of what happens in this story in the next few days, the people deserve to know if facts were covered up by the White House in regards to what they knew and when they knew it. It is an issue when they place the keeping of a seat over the safety of pages and young people in the Congress. It is no small matter..

3. Bush knows what Rove wants him to know.
I mean, he knows basic things on his own, like the way he enjoys washing down a sack of fried pork rinds with a couple of frosty longnecks, and how nothing can take your mind off of 2758 U.S. Soldiers killed in Iraq like a nice, invigorating bike ride. He knows that even though his mommy lives in Kennebunkport, his other special mommies (Laura, Karen, Condi) are never more than a whimper away. He knows that kind of stuff.

EVERYTHING ELSE comes from Rove.

:patriot:

The White House knew all! Politics ruled all decisions on this debacle! Too bad no one tried to stand for ethics! Oh well, now we know the Republican party chooses politics over ethics! So sad!
