By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
Published: October 12, 2006

DURHAM, N.H. (AP) -- John McCain and Hillary Clinton are the most popular potential candidates in New Hampshire for their parties' nomination for president in 2008, a poll released Thursday found.

A total of 515 likely voters were asked about 20 potential presidential candidates in the latest Granite State Poll, conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center for WMUR-TV.

McCain drew the most support among state Republicans, with 32 percent backing him. He was followed by former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, with 19 percent; Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, with 15 percent; and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, with 10 percent. Two percent favor some other candidate, and 14 percent are undecided.

Clinton was the favorite among Democrats polled, with 30 percent supporting her. John Edwards drew 16 percent, Al Gore drew 10 percent and Sen. John Kerry had the support of 9 percent of Democrats. Four percent prefer some other candidate and 17 percent are undecided....

1. MOE 6.8 %. This is definitively a meaninful poll.
Except for the idea that Clinton is ahead (definitively news :sarcasm:), it is absolutely meaningless.

4. Those Hillary Democrats became a bunch of hypocrites.
They hate Bush for the war but they kick the guy to the curb who opposed this madness from the beginning while support an opportunist who didn't have problem giving Bush the power to start this war

8. Does this mean the DNC grassroots education strategy is working?
:sarcasm: :sarcasm:

Sorry, but sadly the rank and file are basically sheep to MSM and Republican propaganda that
have already setup the contest. Lets hope the Puke strategy of pushing Dems to nominate their
ideal candidate backfires and Hillary really turns out to be a winner.
