Joe says he can't count on support from the "Democrat party"
Sign #23423 Joe Is Leaving the Democratic Party
From a campaign email they just sent out.

"While Ned Lamont can count on the Democrat party to fund and staff his GOTV effort, we’re relying on Joe’s supporters as an independent candidate."

Sold. To the highest bidder.

screencap-

This guy's going to jump parties if he wins, which would be SO much less confusing. He keeps raking in more dough from Rove's buddies - No strings, of course. If you were born yesterday while falling off a turnip truck:

But quite willing to speak was Bruce Bialosky, a leading Republican donor in California, who said he will raise more than $10,000 for Lieberman … Bialosky said, “I’m not going to be happy if Lieberman votes for (Nevada Democrat) Harry Reid” as Senate Leader.

2. Lamont should address this directly: he's running against...
... two republicans; and only ONE of the two is supported by the RW of the republican party.

3. Any Democrat in Conneticut who votes for Unholy Joe in November....
...should immediately move to the reddest of red states, don a pair of jeans, put on a NASCAR hat, trade in his Volvo for an F150 and put a gun rack in the back. Also, they should put their children in a school that will guarantee failure in life and take up the quiet hobby of chewing tobacco. Afterall, Republican Joe's got their back.

16. You figure that's the kind of person to help us change our lot?
I don't really know why you would wish further misfortune upon the forty whatever percent of us who are not republican. I won't even go any further than that.

This country is at least 50/50.......although I believe there are more of us Dems than they give us credit for.It would be proven if all our votes were really counted.

4. Reeks of Sheri McInvale
here in a local Florida race. She was a Democrat (with some very Republican friendly votes). Thing is, she WON her primaries. But she got annoyed at being challenged, so she bolted. Doesn't seem to me much has changed, except the letter after her name.

I just posted something about it.

10. Exactly -- Republicans account for his poll numbers AND his dollar numbers
And he's complaining about losing Democratic support when he lost the Democratic primary!! :nopity:

6. "...since our campaign is not able to rely on party resources."
The Republicans aren't reliable, Sherry? You don't deserve Democratic Party resources. Your guy lost and he abandoned our party. He doesn't deserve a thin dime.

9. I wouldn't think so....
The party does GOTV for all the candidates on the ticket...

This is why if there is a strong candidate at the top of the ticket, the rest of the ticket will be helped...

Plus, the party can send out lit at a reduced rate...

That is what Joe is talking about....

12. Well at least he never accepted support from the Democratic Party
or relied on its members to finance his long career in the Senate.

Oh, he did? Nevermind.

15. Well, Lamont, after all, is the Democratic candidate.
I would not be surprised if the Senate is split 50/50 and Lieberman has won, that he would get great enticements to go over to the Dark Side.

21. Here's what worries me.
What would Holy Joe do if, come January, the new Senate is 49 Democrats and 2 independents (Sanders and Lieberman)? If he flipped his vote to the Republicans, Dick Cheney's tie-breaking vote would keep the majority in Republican hands.

Anybody who doubts the Republicans are courting him hasn't done the math. Their non-endorsement of Schlesinger is a tacit endorsement of Lieberman; God only knows what they're doing behind the scenes.
