It's time to redeploy them, bring our Guard and Reserve home, to guard our own borders, and go after Osama bin Laden, and al Qaeda. It's still, al Qaeda, stupid. And that is what the president doesn't get."

. . .counter baseless Republican accusations is to accuse Bush and Cheney of their ACTUAL crimes and demand impeachment.

Defensive response that invokes the original charge just feeds the fire ("We didn't cut and run, you did" still raises the question "Dems do/don't want to cut and run").

The only way to change the subject is to CHANGE the subject to something real.

The reactionary right is all about accusation and punishment. The crimes against our constitutional democracy committed by Bush and Cheney are a legion.

When Democratic leaders start charging them with their crimes, the "debate" becomes "Are Bush and Cheney destroying the Constitution?" "Are Bush, Cheney, et al. War Criminals?" -- even as they defend, they reinforce the notion that they Could Be War Criminals; that they Could Be hell-bent on amassing Unconstitutional and Un-American powers.

3. The Bush family has a 'Cut & Run' gene. They are famous for it.

Boosh #41 cut and ran when he ditched his plane in WW II. He told his crew 'the hell with you' and left them to drown. Sixty years later Boosh #43 named the Navy's newest aircraft carrier after him in recognition of his quick thinking and self preservation.







When it was Junior's time to serve he, in typical fashion, high-tailed it and left his buddies to get shot at.






Jeb, the simian sibling, showed his heritage recently in Pittsburgh when angry protesters made him wet his pants. He had to seek privacy so he could change his soiled garments before attending a fund-raising engagement.

4. Keep pointing out the hypocrisy!

As long as Chimpy is still pounding out that tired, hackneyed slogan, which has been shown time and again to be a steaming pantload, people like us need to keep on pointing out the hypocrisy!

I figured B*sh would've given up on the moronic "cut 'n run" a long time ago. Apparently, moronic is good. The dumber, the better!
