The Nobel Peace Prize
I had the most surreal day yesterday:

I recently started up with an Entertainment and Cause marketing group, small, that has a foundation arm who's largest beneficiary is a little bank in Bangladesh that makes very small loans to very poor people.

I took the gig because I had a karmic defecit, if you will:

I had a large hand in building this:

http://www.theopinionjournal.com

I felt, well, dirty having made this soapbox for hate. I got fired from the company that built it because I would not sit still for the drivel that gets posted there; I made a bunch of very strongly worded responses to that site under the handle 'Charles U. Farley' (and obvious spoonerism for...well, 'Fuck you Charlie').

Only after publishing several of my letters and having their readers inform them of the spoonerism did I get the sack. Mostly, I think, for making their editors look like bigger fools than they already do.

So, years later, I take this new gig before several others that were offered, simply because my new group was pretty seriously interested in Social Jusitce.

Imagine my amazement yesterday when their key charitable partner of choice wins the FREAKIN' NOBEL PEACE PRIZE!!! :)

Today, karmically, I feel clean for the first time in about five years.
