Brit Hume and Bill Kristol predict Democratic takeover of House
Edited on Sun Oct-15-06 10:09 AM by civildisoBDence
Two of the most partisan commentators in DC said this morning on FoxNews Sunday that they expect Democrats to take the House in November. Kristol also alluded to Republican weakness in the polls in Senate races.

Both Hume and Kristol were reluctant to "predict" anything, couching their predictions in the language of "if the election were held today..."

Iraq, Abramoff, Foley, Hastert, Ney have hurt the GOP profoundly at a crucial time...and now comes what may be the death blow, former head of Bush's faith-based initiatives program David Kuo's book "Tempting Faith" in which he hammers DUHbya and the WH for publically supporting evangelicals, but privately ridiculing them.

If the Republicans lose the evangelical vote, this could be a pivotal year. The Christian conservatives have been ever-so-slowly coming around to the fact that destroying the planet and screwing the poor are unChristian, unAmerican policies.

The Emperor has no clothes, and now we can all see his tail and cloven hooves.

4. Sounds like there are only 2 kinds of Dems.
The ones who aren't gonna vote because "it's in the bag", and the ones who aren't gonna vote because everything is Diebolded & there's no hope.

Bullshit.

11. The third kind of Democrat....
The ones who aren't gonna vote, or who will vote Green or some such, because the Democratic candidate in their district isn't perfect.

They also qualify for your comment: "Bullshit."
