Exposed: Talent on the Minimum Wage and Overtime
Jim Talent voted against minimum wage increases 11 times, denying workers of $1.00 or less raise, while
accepting his raises with no problem. He is a hypocrite IMHO.

1. Why can't congress make sure that those of us that work for
a living have fair and equal opportunities to make a living wage. They work hard to pass tax relief for the folks with multiple houses, and bank accounts.

2. Because Congress is subsidized by big business.
Running for office and defending a seat in Congress takes money. It's easier to lobby several wealthy individuals and interests to finance your campaigns than it is to lobby a bunch of poor workers who have little to give in comparison to Mr. CEO's 20,000,000 annual salary and his million dollar PAC.

3. Congress only think of themselves
They work hard to keep getting re-elected, without any thought to people like us. There used to be some
in Congress who actually worked for the people, as they are elected to do. It sickens me.
