What Do You Think the Fallout from North Korea Will Be? |

What effect on the stock market?
I'm really worried about this - we have no one in power right now that can handle serious political situations. We are all strung out in Iraq and have no military left. I think this is a real mess that could have huge consequences.

I would've said "Naaah, they're faking it" even if it was for real. That way, they'd light off the rest of their inventory to prove us wrong. It's no fun being a nuke power if no one believes you.
It could be that's the track the US and allies are, in fact, pursuing. They may have lowballed the 'kilotonnage' of the thing just to goad the little shit into firing up another one or two. Ya gotta figure he doesn't have more than five, and maybe fewer.
