How come there aren't campaign ads bought with the other ads before movies |
|
you know, the kind of political ads you see on tv, why aren't any purchased with the other ads you see at movie theaters with the other ads they have there now?
Is it legal?

2. I think at one time they were, but it is inefficient. |

You only get moviegoers. You can't choose what movies it runs before; you buy as a block. And would you really want the gorehounds and future Abu Gareb torturers who go to see "Saw 3" to watch a Democratic ad?
You're far better advertising on television, where at least some of the viewers are likely to vote, let alone know how to read and write.

3. All theater corporations can refuse any ad and do so more than other |

advertising venues. Because theaters are viewed as family venues, they vehemently stay away from politics (both candidates and issues) and religion. I place advertising and just know that all theaters are completely out as an option for any of these issues - I don't even ask.
