The big middle-class taxcut thing. Unfortunately, even if we raised up the taxes on the wealthy, we still can't afford any more tax cuts. I'm for keeping the current middle-class level and raising the upper-class, but repealing taxes for families of 4 who make under 50K seems like institutionalizing big families. Perhaps too much?

NOTE: I am impressed overall with his speech, just that one part kind of struck me as a bit of a reach.

You have to be pure and lose, lose, lose. Patriotism? It's for suckers. Religion? The opiate of the masses. Military service? for those too poor and dumb to get real lives. And then they get angry and petulant when huge swaths of the electorate reject them and their candidates. What the fuck do they expect? You tell people who value patriotism and religion that these things are a waste of time, and then expect them to vote with you?
