3. At this point, probably one of the Dem party's coffers.
This is the time they dump a million here and a million there.

If you go for direct-to-campaign contribuations, it looks like Senate control is coming down to Virginia, although to get there we need to go through MO and TN.

4. Virginia maybe? That damned felix macaca is still standing.
Unbelievable, but true. His numbers are still WAY too high. Webb should be wiping the floor with him by now.

5. Senate races in TN, MO, NJ, & VA in that order
A couple of sites that currently predict a 51/49 Democratic majority in the Senate are Election Predictions and Real Clear Politics. All the races I have listed, however, are actually tossups because they're too close to call.

According to RCP we have an advantage of 0.8% in TN, 1.4% in MO, and 3.9% in NJ. We have a 4.7% disadvantage in VA. We must focus on these races to exploit the narrow advantages we seem to have in the first 3 states I have listed. This is the most important thing we could do to help make the Senate majority prediction (actually a gues) a reality. We must also focus on VA to give ourselves a one seat cushion of 52/48 for 2 important reasons: To diminish Lieberman's leverage and also to just have that extra seat in case we get surprised in any of the other close races. This is pretty much a horse race, you know.

The reason I selected these races is because they are the closest ones, which means this is where we have the best chance of making a difference. I used the same logic to prioritize them.

We're going to win a majority in the House. I would like for us to pick up more seats there, but our first priority should be to cement our very slim advantage in the Senate to achieve a majority there also.

6. John Hall (NY 19th) could use your help . . .
excellent candidate (anti-war, strong environmentalist, for universal healthcare, etc.) running against an entrenched Bush toady who is becoming more vulnerable every day . . . we have a good chance of taking this seat . . .

7. I'm working for the guy in my sig. I think winning the House is probable
but getting the Senate back would be great, I would consider donating to a senate race.

11. Tennessee.
The GOP is pulling out of Ohio and Pennsylvania to come down here and smear Harold Ford Jr., specifically, on what suits he wears and the kind of cigars he buys.

They want you to look at other places - because it would REALLY suck for them to lose an alleged redder-than-red state.

Send money to Ford to counteract the GOP slime machine.

Hell, even the newspaper where Bob Corker was mayor for year - the Chattanooga Times Free Press - has endorsed Ford.
