Personal Clark Supporter Story.... |
|
My friend Kelly just called me from Virgina Beach. A little background on Kelly. She has always been a Republican, but now after hearing Wes Clark here in Pensacola, she's a Clark Soldier. Kelly is a Navy Veteran on disability. Her and her young daughter have been working their cans off for General Clark in the Virgina Beach, Norfolk area. Tomorrow they start targeting Portsmouth and Norfolk the predominately African American areas of those cities. They will be handing out Clark Fliers, and postings as well as placing them on Car Windows in those neighborhoods. They attended the latest Clark event there today and turn-out was overwhelming.
Wes Clark's campaign is NOT Fizzling simply because the grass-roots support he enjoys (which other campaigns don't have enough of) is going all out for Tuesday.
We can get this thing down to a two man-race against John Kerry after Super-Tuesday, I just know we can.
Clark supporters PM me for Kelly's email address, a short note of support from DU'ers here would go along way.
Lets keep working gang, we can do well on Tuesday, I just know we can!

Wes has to win AT LEAST one of those states to stay in the race. Let's do whatever we can to help him win there.

I saw two Clark04 bumper stickers when I was out today, and I almost never see bumper stickers for Dems in these parts.
Clark does have a lot of grassroots support here in the South.

4. I hope Clark does well for two reasons . . . |
|
first, he would be my second choice for Democratic nominee after Kerry, and I would gladly support him if he were the nominee . . . and second, I'd love to see him garner enough support to make him a viable VP possibility should Kerry win the nomination . . . I think that a Kerry/Clark ticket would be unbeatable . . .
