There is no solid evidence supporting this charge that has been presented so far. Without such evidence, any media reporting the charge could be sued by Craig for defamation and punitive damages.

and Rogers doesn't refer to any tape on his website. Just to "men who say that they have physical relations with the Senator" and to "a man here in Washington DC who says the same" --

Who are these "men" -- don't know, since none are identified or have come forward. And as long as that's the case, this is a non-story.

Also, newspapers print gossip all of the time. Often in the past 6 - 8 years the gossip has started on the Drudge Report.

The mainstream media isn't going to report an unsubstantiated outing. Not. Going. To. Happen. NOr should it.

If there was some substantiation, they might address it and Craig would have to respond. But as it stands, its an unsupported assertion by a liberal blogger -- possibly the easiest thing in the world for Craig to ignore (or if it was reported to dismiss as the unsubstatiated assertion of a liberal blogger).

Frankly, I view it as good news that this hasn't be reported since, without substantiation, its likely to blow up in our faces.
