A question for those in tightly contested districts... |
|
Are the democratic candidates really hitting them hard in ads--have they taken the gloves off or are they trying to protect their leads by being gentle. In my NC district, it is not a tight race so there are virtually no ads on TV. I hope the dems don't roll over--I would hope that every ad that hits the airwave reminds voters of
The Pedophile GOP Foley Abramhoff Terri Schiavo Corruption Delay Cunningham Dead soldiers Bush's incopmetence Cheney's evil nature Money pissed away Huge Deficits Outrageous gas prices
Take the gloves off 24-7.
Unfortunately , negative ads work and these low lifes will do the same thing!

1. Claire McGaskill is hitting |

hard, tying Talent to Bush, and failed Iraq...but Talent is tossing a lot more mud...his ads accuse Claire of support Old Folks home abuse, and being tax/spend liberal....

2. I am in Missouri (McCaskill/NoTalent) |

and don't watch much TV. However, from ads that I have seen (most against McCaskill), both candidates are using negative ads, but on local issues, not so much party issues. The three debates have touched on some of them though.

3. Charlie Brown I guess is trying, but it still seems Doolittle is up there |
|
I see my fair share of "Stand With Congressman Doolittle" signs everywhere in big black text against a red background. But I also see plenty of Charlie Brown bumper stickers on cars. So that way it s pretty close I guess. I don't watch enough tv, but from what I've heard Brown is not only going against Doolittle, but also trying to bring up Doolittle's ties to the administration.
