GET OUT THE VOTE.... This Is My Mantra, I Will Keep Posting This!
THEY will do it again and say.... We know how to get our people to vote! No matter whether it is true or not I'm hearing over and over what a "well oiled" machine they have to RALLY THEIR BASE!

Even if we win AGAIN, THEY are not about to roll over! They will say that regardless of ANY poll you saw, ANY endorsements candidates got, ANY extra support the Democrats have gotten, THEY will say that in the end... THEY GOT OUT THE VOTE!

Do Not Let Your Guard Down! We've seen it happen, we KNOW it happens and WE need to SHOW THEM that we can GET OUT THE VOTE TOO!! Contact everyone that is on our side and tell them, beseech them to vote! I have two more on my list for tomorrow and I will still be making phone calls locally, but we need to see our people VOTING!! My family has already cast our absentees, but I'm going to be at my local precinct to SEE FOR MYSELF!!

1. EXACTLY....It's all about GOTV
Don't be complacent and think we've won. We have to win this with such a large margin that's it's difficult to steal. Most of these races are very close and Dem voters are often hard to turn out at the polls. We have to work for this one.

2. Dem's try to get people to vote - Republicans try to stop the vote
The Democrats are always trying to protect the vote, get more people to vote and insure the votes are counted. While the Republicans are constantly suppressing the vote, throwing voters of the registration scrolls and finding ways to make sure votes don't count.

With that knowledge one can assume that there are more Democrats or moderate to liberal voters in the US than Republicans. Proof that the Moral Majority never was the majority and never was moral.

If the Democrats can get everyone eligible to vote to the polls on every election day, the republicans would never have control of Congress again. Simple math, the more voters there are the higher the percentage of votes are cast for Democrats.

3. Here's my humble contribution
Myself and (at least) two other lecturers where I teach are giving all students who vote an automatic A on their weekly quiz the week of the election. We did this in 2004 (they were on their honor in that they only had to wear an "I voted" sticker to class) and I do not believe any of my students fudged. If any, maybe one or two. For me alone, that's 90 young people, and about 70 will actually do it.
