I seem to have a couple of junior racists trying to overrun teh thread, and frankly reading some of the stuff they're posting is making me sick. That is a great shame since i had a beautiful torte in my fridge that i dont want to spoil... and will have a tart tonight once i get out of class! Shame to spoil such lovely food wiht racist hatespeech...

1. GOP ranks 2% with black voters (+/- 3%)

Statistics imply that there is the potential that -1% of black voters support the GOP - which means there are a bunch of kids who have to be born and THEN not like the GOP. As with their lip service to the religious right (who buy it hook-line-sinker), they play the same game with minorities.

On a similar issue, one the GOP doesn't like to discuss, the census figures imply that white males are already a minority and whites in general will be so within as few as 15 years (I'm white, if you are wondering). Oh, I'm also married which, apparently, puts me in the minority.

So there is no shock that the GOP would be attacking non-white and non-male candidates - THAT ISN'T THEIR VOTING BASE! 2. Yeah, but thats why they think they're reaching OUT to these voters...

Its funny with how the whole approach of the ads was supposedly to EXPAND their base with these voters...

EIther way would you mind talking a little to the two trolls on my thread/ I'm gonna be late for a job if i don't leave right away, but they're still posting and trying to claim victory over the darn thing!

Wouldn't it be nice if those statistics on the populations were reflected in our government?

3. Ah, right - GOP REACHING OUT!

<ahem - borrowing a page from O'Reilly, with a little Rush thrown in> - "You people can't THINK for yourselves - Of COURSE the GOP wants to help minorities, I'm a minority, I'm an idiot. Can't you see the GOP is out to HELP YOU - We're lowering taxes for people with low income, those above $250,000 - so you see, the GOP is here to help. We're working on the schools, putting money into testing and security, and who needs arts and music programs anyway - that's for wimps. Hard workin' Amurkins know that.

AND, and AND - most importantly, MINORITIES and DRUG ADDICTS are breaking Amurka into a wasteland of LIBERAL stupidity - and I've said that before, you can quote me on that. The LIBERALS are destroying this country and RAISING YOUR TAXES! And, wait, SHUT UP, just SHUT -- UP --- SHUT --- UP!!!"
