Pat Buchanan Smoking Hash? Or truth juice?
Edited on Thu Oct-19-06 04:43 PM by maseman
Pat Buchanan just said on Hardball that going to war in Iraq might have been the worst foreign policy decision that the US has ever made. WOW!

He also said that McCain's declaration that we need to send an additional 100,000 troops to Iraq is "crazy" and will absolutely do-in any chances of him running for President in 2008.

Weird I have been agreeing with Pat, Tweety and Scarborough lately.

2. The thing about these three guys is that their common sense
is starting to kick in and then they slip back into their Republican talking points....I have to say lately the common sense has been dominant in the last couple of months but....it never fails they say some stupid ass shit and it's uh oh Repugee is back....

11. It's not common sense
It's their realization of which way the wind is blowing. They will still be creeps tomorrow, be aware!!!

12. Oh no doubt....you are right...because they supported
these thugs in government and helped them get there...

I was reminded today that Tweety urged Gore to concede even when there was question of who won in Florida....

3. Even a blind squirrel finds an occasional nut....
Referring to them, of course; not you. It appears to me that THEY are coming around to realizing things YOU already knew.

6. Nah..Buchanan's been against the war for a while
Edited on Thu Oct-19-06 04:46 PM by nam78_two
In fact I think possibly from the start-but thats more to do with his own isolationist policies than anything else. He would probably feel the same way about aid to Darfur.

He is against this war, but he is still an asshole.....But good that someone on the right has been saying it.

7. One of them also said that the mccain that was popular was the
one the public knew from the 2000 election. The mccain of today is a different man.

9. Stay the course is no longer an option
Either we pull out -now- and let the civil war burn itself out

or we send in an absolutely massive amount of troops- kick butt and end this thing.

I'm not in favor of losing 1 more soldier, but this war needs to be wrapped up-NOW!

Whats the phrase?
Sh*t or get off the pot?
:hurts:

10. The two Pats: it depends on if the check arrived that week.
There's the Republican Party hack Pat & there's the Pat who speaks his own mind.
The Pat who speaks his own mind is sometimes right on.
I've observed this guy for years. A strange bird.
My feeling is that sometimes he's paid to toe the line for the GOP & sometimes he says what he thinks.
Mostly what he thinks is ghastly but he's right about the Neocons & Iraq.

14. Here is a link to a recent Pat Buchanan column
about the Bush Doctrine. Sometimes he is so far right he actually makes it clear around to our side. One thing about Pat he has a mind of his own and doesn't always tow the party line.
