He is putting me to sleep. Has bob dole written all over him.
I like Kerry and I will support him, but I think he will put the swing voters to sleep.

7. The swing voters did not come out in droves to support Dean |
|
although we did have a few posters here who swore that would happen.
The group Kerry is speaking before now seem pretty jazzed.

that was the vigorous opinion of a poster who has not been on the board for the last couple of weeks.
I think the term used over and over and over was the coveted "independent swing voters".

but that's what I was thinking, too.
He sure knows how to sap the energy right out of the room.
Sharpton lit a fire under those folks, and Kerry just poured cold water on them.

10. kerry is too monotone. He needs to take a speech class. |
|
I'm saying this as a desperate Democrat, not an anti-Kerry person.

it's his stump speech, I can recite parts with him. But I think he'll be able to freshen it up for the GE.

He's doing what he needs to do: using the word extreme a lot to describe the Bush administration. It's great that he realizes that we must define them. Also loved when he mentioned Cleland and described why Bush has to resort to lies and slander. And IMO, Kerry's not monotonous - he's classy.

I think "The Rising" by Springsteen is a REALLY good campaign song.
The song is part of his CD about 9/11. I think a Democratic president would represent an end to the darkness and utter chaos that has been rampant since then.
Kerry, like RFK, just challenged us to dream. I think we are ready to dream, and to realize our dreams.
