Boo-O-Meter (Cities where Neil Young received most "boos" for Bush song)
BOO-OMETER RESULTS

by RB Warford, LWW Today

DURING THE CSNY TOUR, which wound up in Pittsburg PA two weeks ago, the song "Let's Impeach the President" received wild responses. After a review of the recordings, the Boo-ometer was connected to the recordings and the results are:

#1 Atlanta GA

#2 St Louis MO

#3 Fresno CA

#4 Irvine CA

No reading is perfect and it may be that Atlanta, the only concert measured that was inside a building, may have benefited from the enclosed area acoustics. No other cities had booing that was loud enough to register on the Boo-ometer. In Atlanta, the boos were still not as loud as the cheers.

1. The crowd went bonkers (in a good way) in Camden, NJ.
It was glorious. :)

Must be why all those Bay Arians are moving here. Way to win over the rural population!

5. Sorry
I had a girlfriend in college that came from Fresno. I spent one summer with her there in the run up to the Iraq War, and let's just say that I had some bad experiences. But I really shouldn't judge a whole place based on my limited experience. It's a habit that I am trying to break. Sorry if you were offended.

6. Thank you for that.
During the run-up to the Iraqi war we (the Democratic Party, Peace Fresno, La Familia en el Valle, and other various groups) were out protesting almost every weekend. Most people have the wrong impression of Fresno and it's understandable. This IS the home of FreeRepublic and Clovis (next door) has had it's own KKK chapter for years. But people forget that Fresno County went for Clinton in 1992 and 1996 AND there is a very strong and active Progressive contingent here. Thank you for your reassessment.
