Sizing Up The UpComing 2006 Erection

Less than a month til the midterm elections. Republicans are still trying to get some mileage out of “Cut and Run.” To which Democrats might argue “Fear and Fail.”

That, of coure, would require Democrats to find their gumption or their chutzpah or their backbone or their balls or what have you.......

The Friday night D.C. pundits seem to be crapping their drawers..... so much more convenient on the job for them when the prevailing winds blow gently and fluff up the direction of the prevalent power; whereas now the shifting sands of reality do not support the charade that these pretentious prat chat shows have been promoting every week.

They are having to say what’s really going on. It sucks to be Bushco. and its advertisers and fluffers.

So it’s interesting watching WW pundit drones turn on the Bushco. regime so smoothly and cleanly, as they eviscerate the lying bastards they have propped up for oh so long.

There’s a quote there on tape from some Republican politico old white man saying that a “stiff wind” is blowing in the face of the Repugnicans. “A stiff wind” is repeated stiff stiff stiff and one can’t help but wonder:

Why is it a “stiff wind”? Because these lying cheating stealing assholes can’t admit that they're wrong?

Oh yeah, must be a “stiff wind” that is SUCH a challenge that they must defend themselves against, instead of admitting, like someone with an actual conscience (or that "integrity" they never "restored to the White House"), THAT THEY BROUGHT THIS UPON THEMSELVES WITH THEIR OWN LIMP, FOLLOW-THE-FUHRER BEHAVIOR.

Ronald Reagan wasn’t sexualized; he was the doddering old grandfather elevated to a supreme godlike position -- his Weapons of Mass Destruction were the sexy bit (Slim Pickens riding the giant missile through the stratosphere: "YEEEEEE- HAWW"). GHWB had his sex removed by the CIA. Bill Clinton had his presidency removed by the National Enquirer. Al Gore “lost” (even after the Tipper Liplock) because he was smart and people wanted to have a beer with The Other Guy.

So The Other Guy has had his pathetic fear-based regime propped up by the punditocracy who now are turning on him. And the die-hard Republican apologists claim that a “stiff wind” is the problem.

Does politics all come down to erections? Balls? Stiff winds? Who stands up to the impotent power, with the wisdom of a child saying,

“The emperor has no guts.”

And when the time is right, the televised courtiers titter and clap, impotently selling out the regime they helped to foster and the public they betrayed.
