"So...how can we keep on doin' what we're doin' but make it sound like it's somethin' new? You go first, Stretch..."

US President George W. Bush (L) speaks during a video teleconference with Vice President Dick Cheney and military commanders in the White House in Washington October 21, 2006. Shi'ite militias battled Iraqi police for a second day running and a mortar attack killed more than a dozen people on Saturday, as Bush talked of changing tactics. REUTERS

29. What in the hell has he been doing for the past five years...
If he had listen to someone years ago the country wouldn't be in certain situations. He sits at the table as though he is really doing something. stay the course bushit. Looks like they are doing everything that the dems have been saying for three or four years now, or are intending on doing it. Let's face it dems have all of the best ideas these repubs are always trying to find away to destroy someone.

I saw this picture of bush somewhere else and now I get to ask this question...."Who makes his suits, the Dallas Cowboys?" With those foot high shoulder pads I was just curious.

Huge, on the other hand, is a synonym for "large." ;)

On edit: I now realize the poster is making fun of freepers. My bad.

"OMFG! This is HUGH!" was once spotted on FreeRepublic. Whenever a DU post uses "OMFG! This is HUGH!," it is a subtle tribute to the enduring stupidity of our red state brothers and sisters. So yes, the misspelling was deliberate.

27. And what's that on his right cheek? A smudge? A shadow?
A scuff? A gin blossom?

And a teleconference with cheney? What? Can't wipe his ass by himself? This is YOUR war, george. YOU wanted it. You lied and cheated and misrepresented and crawfished to get it. YOU can't handle a meeting with your generals without your minder?

Go ahead and look haggard, asshole. I hope this is weighing on your conscience by thousands of tons. That is, assuming you even HAVE a conscience, which is debatable.

9. I only see two guys in uniform. And Pace does not count.
Since he has never uttered a word publicly that is not a lie.

I don't know who the other guy is, but he is undoubtedly just as much a traitor as Pace, since he has not resigned.

So this is just another photo op which would not be taking place if there were not an election in two weeks.

Yesterday Olbermann showed a clip of Bush at a pumpkin farm. He picked up a pumpkin and broke off its stem. He said "Looks like I'm buying this one" and the owner said "Oh no, you're not paying"...to which Junior replied "Oh yes I am...there are too many people watching."

So that's why he's spending his Saturday conducting a "strategery" photo op..."too many people are watching."

13. Troubling thoughts about an October surprise
Rotate a few troops home, make a big deal of it, parade 'em around, put the happy families in commercials.

Sick thought, yes, but it would fit the general theme.
