Zogby Interactive polls are TRASH that should not be considered at all |
|
Just a point. There appear to be some worried about the latest batch of those Zogby online polls and some people jumping to Diebold conspiracy theories or Republican infiltration of Zogby, etc. But the reason is simple. Those online polls are complete JUNK. You shouldn't waste your time with them at all. They're about as valid as those polls on the CNN and other news networks websites that get freeped. Anyone can take them, and anyone can claim to be from whatever state they wish. For example, I actually know a guy who lives in GERMANY who took the poll and just for kicks claimed to be a 50 year old Hispanic female from Montana.
Do not pay ANY attention to those Zogby Interactive polls.

1. Except that they've tracked very closely with . . . |
|
all the other polls, at least until recently. (I haven't looked at one in two weeks or so.)

2. They are JUNK polls - a waste of bandwidth - |
|
- Real Clear Politics will show the Zogby Interactive polls but will NOT include them in their polling average. When you look at the Zogby Interactives alongside other traditional polls, you can see how out-of-whack they are.
They should be done away with as they only confuse people.

They are propaganda tools, and have nothing to do with keeping you informed.

7. One can not make useful statistical inferences from Interactive polls but |
|
they are useful because they sway the ignorant.
I sometimes laugh at the enthusiasm with which DUers attack internet polls but them I return to reality and recognize that such polls do indeed affect the ignorant.
Way to go DUers,
