On C-span: "We're there to try and stay alive."
Nothing like a cup of freshly brewed coffee and C-span to start the day.

A caller just said that he'd run into a friend recently returned from Iraq. He's an army dog handler.
He asked his buddy why we/they are over there.
"We're there to try and stay alive."

There you have what I believe is the basic grunts-eye view of this 'war'.
It's not about liberation or peacekeeping or terror or WMDs.
We/they have put them there and it's their job to try their best just to stay alive, and keep their buddies alive, until they can come home.
Perfect.

Oh...and Mary Katherine Ham is a vacuous repugbot from townhall.com and graduate of the Smirky Self-Satisfied Sneer School of Broadcast Journalism.
What a twit.

1. She's quite the twit and sounds snotty to boot. Very condescending
not that she has any reason to be so.

5. Well this was not a fair debate. Matt totally destroyed Katherine, but in
her defense, she has no arguments. The points she did attempt make constantly contricted themselves and when they failed she fell back to empty slogans and snarky comment.

7. That's true, but Matt looked like he had eaten something bad
There at the end! The expression on his face was bemused to say the least!
