OBL's highest aspirations fulfilled if Democrats win in 2006
Edited on Sun Oct-22-06 12:34 PM by mdmc
Bush while campaiging in PA.:eyes:

From the Times Herald Record 10-20-06
La-Plume, PA - President Bush came to this northern corner of Pennsylvania yesterday, stood firmly beside an embattled congressman whose campaign is beset by an extramarital affair, and warned that if democrats win control in Washington, the nation will fulfill the highest aspirations of Osama BinLaden.

on edit - Bush must think of OBL as the Dem's version of Karl Rove. He must call him Their Blossom, or something.

3. wow
And they asked Reid to apologize for calling Bush a loser?! He is basically saying, Democrats take orders from Bin Laden. Dems need to hit back as hard as humanly possible. Link them to Nazi's, racists, homophobes, the super rich...pull out all the punches on these fuckers. They aren't holding back, why should we?

9. Oh .. Hit Back HARD and FAST .....
Indeed .... but simple repetition of a GOP sound bite is hardly 'hitting back' ....

Say something about it .... CURSE it ... deconstruct it .....

But PLEASE PLEASE dont simply repeat it ... It appears as a support of the idea, not a refutation of the idea, when it is repeated verbatim in a subject line .... The Subject line is a solitary statement in a forum .... it doesnt show the various counter statements in the thread .. JUST the one idea of the subject line .... so what readers find in the forum is :

OBL's highest aspirations fulfilled if Democrats win in 2006

This is exactly what the RW says ..... and it what WE do NOT say ....

Yet there it is, in our forums ... saying just that, and only that .....

This is a common sense issue ... we should not be aping RW talking points IF we dont have to .... and we dont ....

4. it is absurd - OBL must have 'higher' aspirations.
The OP is, verbatim, the GOP stump. I posted it here so that it could be digested, and countered. The OP is their spin, the replies to the OP are our spin.

Deal with it. Spin it. We ensure victory with productive rebuttals.

This year we may not need to do anything other then not be the GOP. I'd rather campaign just to be sure.

7. Your NOT spinning it ...
You are REPEATING it .....

The subject line becomes a sound bite .... it is a de facto PROMOTION of the idea .. not a refutation ....

It is sad when we become unwitting billboards for RW memes ....

10. trust me - no undecided voter is gonna be swayed by my OP
here is my spin
Bush must think of OBL as the Dem's version of Karl Rove. He must call him Their Blossom, or something.

(do you really think voters are swayed by our discussions at DU?)

15. Please consider my OP as a wake up call
Bush is swiftboating all Dems. We either deal with it, or we get swiftboated.

I gave my counter in my OP (OBL must have higher priorities). Please, spin it for me.

Ignoring the swiftboat is deadly.

ps- no undecided voters read DU. This is a place for partisan hacks...

13. That is so horrible
Those are the words of a dictator or at least would-be dictator. Not of a democratic leader, who accepts the concept of a 'loyal opposition', who serve their country by NOT always agreeing with the ruling party leaders.

19. Does that mean he's going to have us all arrested
as enemy combatants? Really, all this stuff has just become so insane, the only thing I can do is try to tune it out as much as possible. I'll go insane myself if I don't.
