"Democrats will lead, and Republicans will follow," - - Rahm Emanuel
Edited on Sun Oct-22-06 12:43 PM by wyldwolf
A Democratic-controlled U.S. House would be able to attract Republican support for raising the minimum wage and negotiating lower prescription drug prices, said Rahm Emanuel, chairman of the House Democrats' campaign committee.

``Democrats will lead, and Republicans will follow,'' Emanuel said in an interview on Bloomberg TV's ``Political Capital with Al Hunt,'' to be aired this weekend.

A Democratic Congress would also exercise more oversight over President George W. Bush's Iraq war policies, Emanuel said.

....it'll be more like "Democrats will try to lead, GOPpies will kick and scream and lay minefields and whine and obstruct and..."

pessimistically,
Bright

2. Sadly I trust Rahm Emanuel as much as I do Republicans.
We need leadership by those who are not rich, spoiled and isolated from reality.

4. Maybe the worse of the repukes will be gone.
The rest might want to save their asses. They might be cooperative and think about the citizens for a change. There is another election two years away. Bush is gone.
