Paul Wellstone - still missed after four years
The hole in our hearts has never fully healed. How different would the world look if this great American's voice had not been stilled in 2002? Paul left shoes the size of another legendary Minnesota Paul (Bunyan), shoes that have never been filled. Your memory/words will always live on.

3. I remember...
crying hard that day after the shock wore off. I, as a rule, do not cry. But that day I cried for hours. Such an inspiration he was and is.

7. I still miss him and I always will.
The only reason I'm not already in Canada is that I signed up to work on his last campaign and all I can think is that he wouldn't cut and run, so I won't either.

11. four years
Four looooooooooooong ass years under this administration. His bill to prohibit government contracts from going to those companies that base offshore to avoid paying taxes went over like a lead balloon with the Republicans who considered him the antiChrist.

He famously said, "I work for the little fellers, not the Rockefellers." He was the best of the best and the caliber of public servant all politicians should emulate.
