Democrats! Show yourselves, with pride!
What a difference Democrats could make in the next two weeks if they moved through their days with pride, and displayed their affiliation for all the world to see!

Now -- when the GOP is in the gutter and Americans are repulsed by their persons and policies -- now is the time to be proud to be a Democrat and to show it to the world around you.

Democrats embody the best of America's promise! Stand up and claim that heritage!

Claim equal justice under the law!

Claim equal voting rights!

Claim a living wage for working families!

Claim the safety net for the disabled and elderly!

Claim civil liberties!

Claim protections for workers!

Claim the preservation of the earth!

Claim the fight against discrimination of all kinds!

Claim it all! With pride.

Be proud of our history of fighting for the people.

Plant a yard sign. Put a pin on your jacket. A bumper sticker. A smile on your face. Hope in your heart.

PROUDER THAN EVER TO BE A DEMOCRAT!!!

1. throw it in the media's face
I'm a Democrat, and I'm proud.

Take that, Candy Crowley.

Take that, Mary Matalin.

Stick it in your eye.

Shove it.

I'm so, so proud!

3. I want to show myself
Edited on Wed Oct-25-06 01:35 PM by Babsbrain
If there are more people like me out there, they want to show the world how united the democrats are right now. And how many of us there are. I would like suggestions about what we can do these last two weeks to show our anger and determination and pride as a united front.

What do you think of running headlights on during the day until the election? (Unfortunately, if a Republican has daytime running lights...oh well!)

4. the bandwagon effect is not to be dismissed!
If Democratic Party strategists were on the ball, they would be everywhere, handing out some kind of emblem through which Dems could show SOLIDARITY.

5. I agree
I have written to the DNC with the suggestion that they somehow unite the democrats using some expression, symbol or act.

I am screaming inside with anger and I want to show the WORLD I am fighting for all that's worth fighting for!!!!
