Those three young ladies have more courage in their little fingers than Oprah has in her whole body.

I have a friend who is a country music fan and she is livid about the Dixie Chicks. "How dare they criticize our president while not in America". Like country music fans get to make the free speech rules for everybody else. Funny thing is that my friend is also a bid fan of Barbra Streisand, who would probably criticize Bush no matter what country she was in.

She said that she had always been taught about free speech, and how important it was. She said that she never ever thought she would lose her right to speak.

If anyone heard the song "Heartland" by The The (from the album "Infected" 1984), you will know that the United Kingdom is "the 51st State of the USA".

This reality has been proved over and over again - from the stationing of CRUISE missiles back in the 1980s to the invasion of IRAQ in 2003.

So the Dixie Chicks were in fact on home soil when they made those remarks about BU$H.
