He just played a clip of Limbaugh back-pedaling on the "off his meds or acting" remarks. Limbaugh didn't retract what he said, he simply stated that he "honestly" thought Fox skipped his meds to "show the ravages of the disease." Tweety asked his guests if Limbaugh made the situation better or worse with his latest remarks and reminded them of the old adage that when you're in a hole you should stop digging. Before he went to commercial he said "I like the guy (Fox) but I don;t like that ad."

Tough shit, Tweety. The ad wasn't made for you.

Every once in a while, Matthews will "speak out" against some little thing the GOP did. That results in an IMMEDIATE influx of "Tweety is on FIRE" threads on DU, with carefully noted observations about how "the worm (or "tide") has TURNED," and Tweety is now one of US, and GO TWEETY.

All of which is utter bullshit, because ever since Mattews gazed in wonder upon the sock-stuffed crotch of George W. Bush on the "Mission Accomplished" deck of the USS Lincoln, there is NO MYSTERY as to where his "loyalties" lie. He's a big-headed Bush whore. Case closed.
