Best Ad you've seen running in your State for Dem Candidate!
Edited on Wed Oct-25-06 06:24 PM by KoKo01
Are there some good or great one's DU'ers have seen that hit all the Hot Buttons spotlighting your Candidate Dem issues?

Can you post your State, the Rep and something about the ad? I wish we could have You Tubes to the good or great ads...maybe someone has links?

Anyway...many of us would like to know about this!

Go to it!

1. The Republican Candidate's Rally
Kerry Healey, our Rethug gubernatorial candidate, showed what an evil thug she really is by hiring a bunch of folks to dress as prisoners and hold an "Inmates for Deval" rally at Deval Patrick's (our Dem candidate) house. Then she gave one of those "I'm lying" denials before admitting she'd done it.

This move added 10% to Patrick's lead. (Personally, I'm voting for the Green candidate - Patrick seems to be more of a Clinton than a Democrat.)

2. Iowa Governor's race
This ad is a positive ad done by the Democratic candidates wife:

http://www.chetculver.com/multimedia/Mari.asp

Why is it such a good ad? Because Culver is running against Jim Nussle, Chair of the Budget Committee (thank him for his help with the deficit) who left his first wife and two children (his daughter was born with Down Syndrome) for Newt Gingrich's former press secretary. (after Gingrich left the House the future Mrs. Nussle became a K-Street lobbyist using her boyfriend and then husband's position to scare others into giving her what she wanted). They are the typical D.C. power couple and Nussle is only running for Governor so that he can eventually run for President. His former wife and two children still live in Iowa while the Nussle's own a $680,000 condo outside of Alexandria, VA.

Oh, Nussle tried to do a response ad w/his new wife's photographs of pretty Iowa places - it just kinda flopped.

The above ad is a WINNER! and so is CHET CULVER :bounce:

5. Iowa Governor
I agree that Chet Culver's "Mari" ad was a home run. The ad that Debi mentions about Nussle is a flop ... especially when Nussle prefaces his newest wife's pictures by saying something along the line of "Since I have traveled the state of Iowa running for Governor I have learned how beautiful of a state we have ..." UMM, you just now realized that Iowa has a beautiful land and you want to be our governor? Please!
