Grim Anniversary: BBC STORY and PROOF that ALL states are going RED

US soldier weeps near body of comrade
killed in a mortar attack near Mosul
in December 2004

US death toll in Iraq hits 2,000
Wednesday, 26 October 2005,

President Bush said more sacrifices would need to be made.
Hundreds of protests and vigils are being held across the US
to mark the 2,000th military death in Iraq.

In Washington, the Senate held a minute of silence,
and the names of the dead were read out on the floor
of the House of Representatives.

President George W Bush has warned Americans
to brace themselves for more casualties, saying
no-one should underestimate the difficulties ahead.
Unofficial estimates put Iraqi civilian deaths
since the war at about 25,000.

According to the Washington Post the bell has now tolled over THREE-THOUSAND times for our troops. To be exact, that site, which honors our dead with pictures, claim that the count is at 3,102. So many Iraqis have fallen, no one can even measure the deaths. http://projects.washingtonpost.com/fallen/page5/

NOW, HERE'S THE PROOF EVERY STATE IS GOING RED:

Alabama

Alaska

Arizona

Arkansas

California

Connecticut

Colorado

Delaware

Florida

Georgia

Hawaii

Idaho

Indiana

Iowa

Illinois

Kansas

Kentucky

Louisiana

Maine

Maryland

Massachusetts

Michigan

Minnesota

Mississippi

Missouri

Montana

Nebraska

Nevada

New Hampshire

New Jersey

New Mexico

New York

North Carolina

North Dakota

Ohio

Oklahoma

Oregon

Pennsylvania

Rhode Island

South Carolina

South Dakota

Tennessee

Utah

Vermont

Virginia

Washington

West Virginia

Wisconsin

Wyoming

Iraq also appears to be "going red."

ARE OUR STATES "RED" ENOUGH YET?

1. I will never forget, as long as I live, my conversation with a soldier's m-...
This woman loved her daughter's husband like he was her own son. I'd never met her before but we were both crying as she told me about his death and the effect it had on not just her daughter and the whole family but on the men under his command. I will remember her--and him--for the rest of my life. The world is poorer for having lost him too soon.

3. I found out last night how hard it was too "see" by going thru hundreds...
I looked at their faces thinking of their moms, dads, children, friends, neighbors; thinking of the life they were SUPPOSED to have; thinking of how they died in vain; i hope Bush, Cheney, and fellow Republican crooks in the House and Senate are having a happy fat-cat life. I hope their finally rich and powerful enough. Maybe after those monsters become satisfied, they'll stop sending smiling young photos of life through the Reapers shredder. Most of all, I hope there really is a hell and if some Divine entity sees me as deserving to go there, I hope to see those elected demons face to face.

5. I CANNOT imagine the pain. I hope I never have to.
I'd recommend this but I'm too late discovering it. So I'll just kick it UP.
