Yes I know you're probably wondering what happened with my vote in the Senate race. Well, I will not vote for someone who has already attacked my labor. Dianne Feinstein attacked my union when she called on Bush to hit us with Taft Hartley. There is no way I will vote for somebody who has attacked my job. Sorry to have to say, she's invisible to me now.

I voted for Clinton the first time around but not the 2nd. Why? NAFTA. He told organized labor, the working class to go piss up a rope when he signed that--and all the other free trade deals he embraced.

3. I voted for Colleen Fernald in the primary, instead of Feinstein |
|
Feinstein, while better than almost any Republican, is not exactly my favorite either. I think it might've been her gushing over Condi's appointment that did it for me.
Mind sharing how you voted on the state propositions? I haven't reviewed all of them yet and I've got my absentee ballot sitting here. I will be one of those elections officers on Election Day. They won't let me offer paper ballots, btw. Voters have to know that they can ask for one.

4. I'm voting an almost straight ticket too |
|
I'm voting for every Democrat on my ballot, except:
I'm voting for the Libertarian for governor. (Who is really a progressive, for the most part. She was Keith's guest on Countdown Wednesday night.)
And for my congressman, I'm writing in the Democratic incumbent's predecessor, because the incumbent voted in favor of torture and against habeas corpus. He's running unopposed.

6. DiFi's safe anyway and it sounds like you have a legitimate grievance |

I'm a strong party line supporter, but I'd have a hard time voting for her after that.
