1. Really the only reason to vote for Young was the pork.

He used his seniority to get committee chairs and bring tons of pork to the Tampa Bay region. However, with Democrats taking over congress, he'll no longer be in a position of power. His "pork" prowess will be non-existent. It'd make more sense to vote for someone like Samm Simpson who represents our values than a rubber stamp for the Bush administration like Young.
