2. This latest tactic of Allen's may very well

backfire. I know Repubs are mean, greedy and untrustworthy and blatant about wanting to retain power, but this instance about Webb really is the last straw. They have coarsened our country, our democracy and our election process. To use a person's work of fiction as a way to demonize him shouts desperation. There must be a multitude of sins out there for the Repubs to go this far. God only knows what will come out when the Dems win the mid-term election. The slogan Take my Country back has more meaning than ever.
