Question on Kerry the muckraker
I read how Kerry has exposed more corruption than any other politician in this generation. He exposed BCCI and Iran Contra.

My question is how many convictions have stuck?

How many of the Bush Crime Family are behind bars or not in positions of power?

Dick Cheney was instrumental in watering down the Iran Contra report from what I have read.

If Kerry has so much dirt on Bush and company why has he not done anything about it?

To me much of what Kerry has done in the past three years has been more bark than bite.

He knows/knew how horrible Bush was but did not dispute the votes in Florida.

From past experience with Bush the elder (Iran Contra) and knew from the lessers actions that he wasn't any better and yet he trusts him enough to vote for the Patriot Act and the Iraq resolution.

He said before his vote on Iraq that he would hold Bush accountable and yet he missed many votes in the Senate in the past year and I do not believe that he has lead any filibusters to prevent legislation that Bush wants from passing. What legislation has Kerry personally led the way to block?

He seems to be allowing Bush a free pass on his AWOL status by saying that he doesn't have the facts.

There are other things that I cannot think of right now but given the above I have a hard time fully coming to support Kerry. Some of the above would be hard stands to take others not so hard but it appears to me as somebody that doesn't stand up when needed.

It is so frustrating to me. How many of you live in "Red states"? I do and all my local and state Reps are Republicans. I can write them and write them and I know it just goes in the round file or maybe I am on a list :) With Kucinich I became excited on the possibilities of a Dem President again. With Dean I became energized with hope. And now I feel that me, and others like me, are being swept aside in favor of the status quo. Maybe Kerry will change things but some of his actions in the past don't give me too much enthusiasm.

1. It's too late
Nobody wants to hear that now. You're supposed to get behind the front-runner. :hi:

2. locked
inflamatory, and several leading questions.

8. If you make a factual assertion about a candidate that is not generally accepted to be true, you must provide a link to a reputable source to back up your claim. Allegedly "innocent" questions which are actually an underhanded effort to spread rumors are not allowed. If you really need to know the answer to your question, try Google.
