DCCC doing 3 to 1 matching on contributions?
Gotta love a bargain like that!

:bounce:

In less than 15 days, just a mere few weeks, voters nationwide will cast their ballots for a new direction for America. The actions we take – or do not take -- will determine whether we win or lose. We simply cannot afford not to act. Make a secure online contribution today and it will be matched 3-to-1 by Democratic House Leadership for every dollar contributed online effectively giving you four times the impact.

5. Indeed...
rich Dems, as I've said before, should have offered to give 10 times what is raised in a particular week. If they raise 1 million in a massive drive...that's 11 million dollars total to go to various campaigns. AND KEEP IN MIND that leftover money will go to legal efforts in contested elections so it's VERY important to take advantage of this if you're financially able to give anything at all.

7. Thanks for the reminder!

That bears repeating.

8. It's a good deal for...
Rahm and the DCCC and their "chosen," but I'd have preferred to be able to specify
the candidate(s) to which the monies would go. No such option. A mistake, IMHO...

9. When someone turns my 25 bucks to $100
I figure they get a say in who it goes to.
It goes to Democratic candidates during the final push in a crucial election when desperate 'pukes are pulling out all the stops, and that suits me. Not a mistake, with all due respect.

Let me know which of these are "the chosen". If they all are it's quite the list.

14. CP - you're right...
Now that Vic Wulsin is on the 4th wave list, I'm encouraged. So I kicked in this a.m. Especially after the local bird-cage liner, the Cincinnati Enquirer, endorsed ...hold on, my fingers just won't cooperate...just a second...jean...bullschmidt. (That was a struggle.)
My initial hesitancy was due to my living on a retiree's fixed income, being used to making my own decisions as to how to spend my spare. Certainly the "one gets ya three more" multiplier makes it irresistable. Hope you'll understand, in this light.

13. Kicking. From Kos..."KS-02: DCCC springs surprise ad"

Kansas Republicans got a surprise this morning.

House Democrats launched a surprise television attack against Rep. Jim Ryun of Kansas on Friday night, hoping to increase the number of competitive races in the battle for control of Congress.

Ryun "voted against a $1,500 combat bonus for our troops, but voted to give himself a huge pay raise -- twice," the ad says of the five-term lawmaker.

It praises his rival, Nancy Boyda, as "honest and independent -- the right change for Kansas."

I like this. This is definitely an "expand the playing field" move.

And it's a definite head-fake. The race isn't even on any of the DCCC's target lists, either the Red to Blue or the Emerging Races ones.

And from the comments...

the dccc's got another surprise coming...
check out this link on the FEC website:

http://query.nictusa.com/...

that's a cool million in a media buy, roughly tripling the dccc's investment in this race (CT-04), right in joementum's backyard. latest poll i saw on this race had shays and farrell tied at 43%.

If they're on a final push with the buys and matching contributions 3-to-1 it's a wise investment.
