1. 28,454 people in my city have already voted early
If that tells you anything.

There's about 450,000 people here, but I'm not sure how many are registered voters or even eligible to vote.

5. Depends on which side of town.
The North and East are solid Ford. The West (the "rich" side of town) is mostly Corker, but I've seen more Ford signs there than I have Corker signs on the other side of town. The South - I'm not sure. I don't go there much. But this is the city. The county is always Republican.

I'm guessing Corker will actually win my county (the city will go Ford, but the county will overrule the city) because people around here vote Republican because their mother, brother, sister, father, uncle, etc. have ALWAYS voted Republican.

The key is for Ford; however, is to win the West and Middle of the state and get just enough out of my side of the state (the East) to win the entire state.

7. You must be in Knoxville
I'm surprised the number of Ford signs and bumper stickers I've seen lately in and around Knoxville.
I still can't believe the Knoxville paper endorsed Corker after endorsing Bredesen and "No" on amendment 1. What they based it on is beyond me. Even the endorsement didn't say anything; it just spouted the party line.

8. I'd say it was the Haslam factor, wouldn't you?
The KNS is oft in bed with big-name pols (I freelanced for them and their editorial power structure is odd).

6. We have no legitimate media
We only have the Limpbat/Insannity/Savage kind of radio programming throughout most of the state - I don't even know if any liberal radio is offered outside of MAYBE Nashville and Memphis (and I'm not sure about there).

So 47 percent are only getting half of the story. And about 30 percent of them wouldn't believe the other half if they got it - they're Kool-aid drinkers.

11. I haven't the foggiest.
I just did a quick search and found that it's either in or coming to Memphis, but isn't in Nashville, Knoxville or Chattanooga (the four largest cities in the state).

Hell, in Knoxville, the closest thing we had to a "liberal" on the radio was "The Lionel Show" and it was taken off for that advise lady just recently - not that it was on during any prime time listening (it was on at like 6 or 7 p.m.)

I'm guessing no one thinks anyone in this state outside of Memphis would support it - which is a bunch of crap. The CITY of Knoxville is blue - it's our horrid Knox County that bleeds bright red and makes our whole county appear red on those little maps.

12. Don't forget the last Ford Corker debate on Saturday this one...
I think will be watched by alot of the population in Tenn. because of the negitive ads. this will be a make or break debate for both of these guys.
